That year, Her Husband Thomas left for New York to find work. She followed a few months later after loosing contact with him. Lillian and her 2 Children found an apartment in queens, she searched for Thomas through news media(Documented) and other ways. what happened is not quite clear, Although we know she met Gustave Green, her second husband and Father to her other children in that city. I am not sure if she found him and then left or she just gave up when she met Gustave?
